Nate Zelinsky

Walleye pro and multi-species guide Nathan Zelinsky tracks walleye, lake trout, northern pike, rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, catfish, kokanee salmon, panfish, and carp on eight different Colorado reservoirs.  With an average of 300 days on the water each year Nathan earns his reputation as the top year-around multi-species guide in the Western United States.

Nathan’s guide service, Tightline Outdoors, specializes in teaching fishing fundamentals and advanced tactics to anyone interested in learning to catch fish.  Nathan’s innovative Ice School runs every weekend throughout the winter and teaches anglers the details of a specific species in a classroom session followed by a day of guided fishing on the ice.  Combined, the summer and winter trips total nearly 1000 clients a year.

Nathan spends the rest of the year promoting outdoor education through radio, television, personal appearances, and filming instructional DVDs.  As a co-host and regular contributor on 104.3 The Fan ESPN radio Nathan covers fishing, but also leads discussions on big game hunting, waterfowl hunting, camping, and snowmobiling. You will regularly see him on the World Fishing Network’s local programming and many of their syndicated programs.  Nathan’s fishing tactics and innovations have been covered on the pages of In-Fisherman, Bass Angler’s Guide, and the Denver Post.

Finally, Nathan spends up to a week each year volunteering for Joseph’s Journey, a “make-a-wish” charity for terminally ill children who are interested in the outdoors.
