Ross Robertson

Hometown: Toledo, Ohio

Bodies of water: Robertson primarily ice fishes the Great Lakes for walleyes, particularly the Western Basin of Lake Erie and Saginaw Bay, but his on ice travels have taken him from Lake of the Woods to small ponds in Ohio.

As a full time open water guide Robertson spends more than 150 days on the water fishing tournaments, guiding, shooting TV shows and gathering information for outdoor articles. The ice fishing bug happened after spending winter breaks from college by flying over to the famed bass islands to fish for giant walleyes through the ice.  On the larger bodies of water that Robertson typically fishes his keys to success are being organized and not getting lazy, move until you have located fish.
